To cancel your E-ZPass account, you will have to call the E-ZPass customer support department at 1-888-288-6865 and a let a customer support agent know that you wish to cancel your account.
After you have cancelled your account, bring your E-ZPass transmitter to an E-ZPass customer service center, or send it by mail to the address below:

P.O. Box 52003
Newark, NJ 07101.
Once the transmitter has been received, you will receive a refund of the remaining balance in your E-ZPass account by mail within thirty day.
