How to Cancel My Account ?

You can cancel your Merrill Lynch account by calling the Merrill Lynch customer support line at 1-800-637-7455. once you reach a representative, let them know that you would like to cancel your account. Verify your identity, then choose whether you would like to receive a cash disbursement or transfer your remaining money to a different brokerage.


You will receive documents to close your account in the mail. Sign these documents and return them. Once the documents are received by Merrill Lynch, your account will be closed.
